Transfer of the population from Old Roscigno to New Roscigno (1902).
Due to its hydrogeological nature constituited of clay soil, were frequent landslides in the area, so it was defined: «Roscigno, country walks».
But in accordance with the provisions of the two Ordinances, civil engineering (Special Act No. 301 dated July 7, 1902 and n. 445 dated July 9, 1908), which provided for the consolidation of the village, the village was moved and rebuilt, according to criteria of modern technique, on the back of its very pleasant hill.
